Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
>> Manage telesales representatives by providing guidance, training, and support to help them improve productivity and achieve company’s sales goals.
>> Create and maintain a positive and motivating work environment that encourages team collaboration and individual growth.
>> Lead by example through active participation in sales calls and customer interactions.
>> Understand team members’ sentiment to score high on employee happiness, or improve matters if their experience scores leave something to be desired.
>> Recruit high potential team members and ensure they are well-equipped to meet their targets.
Sales Management:
>> Take ownership in leads assignment, leads generation.
>> Develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns.
>> Analyse sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas to establish competitive edge.
>> Oversee budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
>> Monitor and evaluate telesales calls to ensure quality standards are met and provide feedback to improve performance.
>> Responsible in generating management reports, team’s commission statement.
>> Identify opportunities for process enhancements, best practices and innovative techniques to increase productivity and success rates.
>> Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies during telesales activities.
Customer Interaction and Issue Resolution:
>> Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
>> Ensure exceptional customer service delivery and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Training and Development:
>> Mentor team members on closing techniques, product knowledge, and company policies.
>> Define training needs and measure training effectiveness.
>> Hands-on in developing and fine-tuning sales scripts.
Collaboration:
>> Work closely with product marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure telesales efforts are integrated with broader company strategies and initiatives.
>> Provide customers feedback to CX team and management for solutions and identify improvement initiatives.
>> Ad-hoc participation in roadshows to close sales on-site as and when required.
Requirements:
>> 5+ year’s telesales experience in general insurance with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead position.
>> Proven track record in achieving sales targets in a telesales environment and experience in developing telesales strategies.
>> Experience in employing various closing techniques, effective scripts writing to move leads/opportunities toward making a sale.
>> Strategic thinker with excellent organisation skills.
>> Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and agile to meet changing market conditions.
>> Excellent managerial skills with a knack for building rapport and influencing others.
>> Experienced in articulating system requirements/enhancement, automation such as CRM, telemarketing software, and other relevant technologies.
>> Experienced in driving telesales process enhancement and/or transformation initiatives is an advantage.
>> Analytical mind-set with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
>> Bachelor degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
