– Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to drive brand awareness, audience engagement and user growth for the organisation, entertainment and lifestyle app and radio stations.
– Oversee content planning and publishing across platforms i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc., ensuring consistency and high-quality execution.
– Set KPIs for organic engagement, reach and community growth, optimizing performance through data-driven decisions.
2.Team Leadership & Collaboration:
– Lead and mentor a multi-functional team of content producers, community managers, and data analysts – as well as guide and manage vendors and freelancers as required – to drive engagement and storytelling.
– Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Branding team to integrate paid and organic social media efforts for maximum impact.
– Foster a creative and data-informed culture within the team, ensuring high performance and innovation.
3. Content Development & Audience Engagement:
– Oversee the creation of compelling, platform-specific content e.g. short-form videos, social graphics, memes, live streams, etc. to engage diverse audience segments.
– Work with community managers to ensure timely and authentic engagement with followers, responding to trends and audience interactions in real time.
– Develop and execute influencer partnerships and user-generated content campaigns with the Marketing & Branding team to amplify reach.
4. Data-Driven Optimization:
– Leverage insights from data measurement and analysis to refine content strategy, optimize engagement and improve conversion rates.
– Monitor trends, audience behaviors and social listening data to stay ahead of industry changes and audience preferences.
– Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders on social media performance and emerging opportunities.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership:
– Work cross-functionally within Creative & Content and with Product, Tech, Marketing, Business Development and other internal stakeholders to meet social engagement KPIs
– Partner Ideation Lab – our in-house creative design team – in participating in external client pitches when required, focusing on effective and appropriate social engagement strategies and ideas.
– Represent the organization and the Social Engagement team at/in industry events, partnerships and media opportunities.
