JOB DESCRIPTION:
Department: IE (Industrial Engineering) Department
Reports to: IE Manager
Functional relationships:
- MLCC factory performance monitoring in Japan factories
- MLCC factory performance monitoring in oversea affiliates: China
POSITION PROFILE:
This position is to collaborate with HQ and Japan factories, and participate in financial planning and cost analysis to devise efficient systems that integrate 4M.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
~ Policy, strategy alignment and coordination of PJT by collaborating with Japan HQ or other group company in Japan.
~ Analyse and visualize the MLCC manufacturing operation performance through monthly profit and loss statement.
~ Report to HQ the monthly performance in Japanese.
~ Prepare monthly profit and loss statement including variance analysis and its reporting to internal members and HQ.
~ Study and understand the product cost and initiate periodical meeting with Japan HQ or other group company to highlight potential cost down area.
~ To propel cost reduction of MLCC products.
~ To grasp new technology and make improvement proposals in quality, cost, efficiency.
~ Ability/Competency required:
~ Minimum Master Degree in Engineering field.
~ Experience in MLCC Process.
~ Fluent in Japanese and English language skills to liaise with Japan factories & HQ departments, and staff in Singapore factory.
~ Logical thinking, analytical skill and good engineering sense.
~ Strong mind-set for change and improvement.
~ Proactive attitude and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
~ Networking ability with MLCC related functions.
