Roles & Responsibilities
Primary Objective(s) of Position
-Discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction with the aim of maximizing profits. Meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to the Company’s growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
-Responsible for creating a value proposition to convert IDR base parts business to USD through Trakindo Utama Singapore Branch.
-Monitor delivery time, stocks, back orders and goods on order.
-Forecast market requirements and plan for stock replenishments.
-Ensure orders are timely processed and delivered to customers.
-Optimize freight charges.
-Service existing customers, attend to sales enquiries and provide quotations.
-Negotiate terms of an agreement and close sales.
-Gather market and customer information.
-To study the current market trends for a product and identify improvements.
-To research about different sales options and analysing them.
-To recommend solutions to any problems faced by clients.

-Prepare monthly sales report detailing market information, sales volume, action plans, and loss sales.
Duties & Responsibilities (Cont’d)
-To liaise with Customer Service Manager and General Manager for both Tembagapura and Batu Hijau sites.
-Assist Finance Department in collection of payments.
-Participate in technical exhibitions.
-Assist in delivery of urgent orders to customers.
-Assist in setting up an organized filing system for the department.
-Fulfill any other duties as assigned by Management.
Person Specifications
-A Diploma in Engineering or at least 3 years of experience in sales of mining equipment and/or products.
-Highly independent and resourceful.
-Possess good communication, marketing and negotiation skills.
-Able to correspond in writing with customers, suppliers and internal staff.
-Comfortable with travelling overseas for site visits.
-Able to speak in Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin.
