Job Description

  • –  Develop and implement social media strategies that align with NUS' objectives to engage alumni and bolster community outreach effectively.
  • –  Strategically grow our follower base and increase engagement by creating campaigns that attract and resonate with our global alumni audience.
  • –  Lead the creation of compelling content across multiple social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube) that engages our diverse alumni base.
  • –  Actively monitor, moderate and respond to interactions on social media platforms, fostering a positive community environment and strengthening alumni relationship with NUS.
  • –  Regularly analyse and report on the performance of social media activities. Utilise these insights to optimise future campaigns and strategies to increase engagement and reach.

Qualifications

  • –  A good Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • –  At least 5 years of proven experience in social media management.
  • –  Exceptional creative and visual skills, with a proven ability to develop content and strategies that engage diverse audiences, including proficiency in graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • –  Excellent writing and editing skills, with the capacity to create content that both engages and informs a variety of audiences.
  • –  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • –  Excellent organisational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • –  Good analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions and enhance outcomes.
  • –  Solid understanding of the social media platforms and their best practices, experience in managing social media campaign and proficiency in social media analytics and tools.
  • –  Willingness to occasionally work beyond regular office hours and on weekends, if needed.
