Job Purpose 

~ Support Head (Kitchen) in overseeing the operations of 1 Institutional Kitchen in meals productions, ensuring timely delivery, food safety and quality standards.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

~ Assist in the overall management of 1 Institutional Kitchen, ensuring service levels are being met.

~ Oversee the preparation and distribution of meals according to dietary requirements and food hygiene standards.

~ Ensure strict compliance of all relevant food and workplace safety regulations, including follow up on audit recommendations.

~ Co-manage a team of workers and vendors to ensure smooth running of operations.

~ Work with the team and various stakeholders to optimize workers’ productivity and morale.

~ Keep abreast of changes in the food industry, i.e. food safety management, SFA regulations, industry best practices.

~ Execute contingency plans when required.

~ Ensure compliance to risk measures from the risk management framework.
