The Job

The Financial Analyst plays a critical role by providing the management with insightful reports for data-driven decisions, improving reporting accuracy and efficiency, as well as supporting the company’s current/future growth.

 

What You Can Expect of the Job

~ You’ll perform monthly/quarterly/year-end closing of accounts from the perspective of a G/L function.

~ You’ll prepare monthly management reports, including financial results and business drivers’ analysis, and provide supporting commentary on the variances between actual and forecasted results.

~ You’ll oversee the company’s inventory management processes, ensuring data completeness and accuracy.

~ You’ll ensure supporting schedules are accurately maintained.

~ You’ll oversee reporting packages from the company’s overseas establishments.

~ You’ll ensure compliance with financial regulations and adherence with internal, local, and international accounting standards.

~ You’ll coordinate with divisions to gather, review, and submit business forecasts in alignment with the company’s strategies.

~ You’ll liaise with internal/external auditors, providing the required support and information upon request.

~ You’ll assist in implementing governance and internal controls initiatives, including strengthening current internal controls, and improving the finance department's processes and systems.

~ Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
