Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of spare parts and service solutions, supporting the equipment portfolio and vessels of a renowned global marine group.
As a Financial Accounting Assistant Manager/Manager (Korean speaking), you will handle the financial and management accounting, including invoicing, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany transactions, reporting, and audits. The role also involves cost analysis, budgeting, and profitability assessments using SAP CO and close liaison with Korean speaking stakeholders.
【 Responsibilities 】
- Manage DT invoice processing and ensure accurate quarterly revenue recognition.
- Handle asset disposals, calculate losses, manage depreciation, and ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
- Oversee T-company billing, ensuring correct invoicing and payment tracking quarterly.
- Utilize SAP CO for cost analysis, budgeting, and profitability assessments to support financial planning.
- Contribute to SAP enhancement projects, system upgrades, and process optimization.
- Prepare and submit financial reports, including SG&A expense analysis, employee benefits costs, revenue and profit analysis, project loss identification, and cost assessments.
- Calculate and record lease liabilities for new leases in compliance with accounting standards.
- Compute and report delayed interest amounts as per financial policies.
- Provide financial data and documentation for audits to ensure compliance.
- Ensure transfer pricing compliance with proper documentation and policies.
- Manage banking relationships, oversee credit facility renewals, and support due diligence.
- Support ad-hoc financial and accounting tasks as required by management.
Qualifications
Requirement
【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of working experience in financial accounting related roles
- Fluent in both English and Korean (TOPIK 6 or equivalent) to communicate effectively with English and Korean speaking stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and asset management.
- Ability to join within 1 month or short notice
(Advantageous)
- Experience working in MNC or Korean company environment
- Prior experience in management will be highly regarded
- Proficient in SAP CO
- Experience working in maritime industry will be a plus
