Key Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct economic research and provide insights on Asian economies.
✅ Develop econometric models to forecast key economic and market variables.
✅ Monitor and interpret policy changes, macro trends, and market movements.
✅ Prepare and present economic reports and thought leadership pieces.
✅ Collaborate with portfolio managers and investment teams to guide strategy.
Key Must-Haves:
✔ Postgraduate degree in Economics/Finance with strong econometrics coursework.
✔ 3-5 years of experience in an economic research role within a financial institution, government agency, or multilateral organization.
✔ Proficiency in Python or EViews for economic modeling.
✔ Strong analytical and communication skills – ability to simplify complex economic concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
