JOB DESCRIPTION:
Department: Business Engineering
Reports to: ASEAN Regional Infrastructure Team Leader
Functional Relationships; Japan Headquarter, ASEAN + India affiliates, and End Users.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
~ Responsible for installing, upgrading, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office 2007, 2013, and 2007.
~ Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
~ Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
~ Technical advice and proposal solution to Infrastructure Team Leader when necessary
~ Handle network/systems testing and manage web-based applications infrastructure
~ Provide technical support on and after office hours on mission-critical systems
~ Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
~ Returns defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory, documents Users' repairs, and maintains and restocks assigned parts inventory to ensure proper spare parts levels.
~ Safely package equipment for branches and arrange for equipment transport.
~ Participate in Regional / Global Projects
~ Perform sharp and meticulous troubleshooting skills and LAN network solutions
~ Update and liaise project status, project reporting, and issues to respective team members
~ Produce operation procedures and training to users for new technologies implemented
ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED
~ Certificated in Computer Science / Telecommunications / Information Technology/Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
~ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Environment
~ Knowledge of Lotus notes 8.5.3, Outlook 2013, Cisco LAN, WAN, Wireless, Switches, Hubs, VPN, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Knowledge, Veeam Backup, CA Backup.
~ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Able to communicate with all levels of End Users.
~ Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
~ Able to work well as a team player while being independent and pro-active
~ Positive attitude in a challenging work environment
~ Able to travel to ASEAN and India region
