Business
Identify and target accounts with customized propositions, in line with national, regional and global accounts sales plan, in order to close new profitable business and increase sales revenue.
~ Develop a sustainable relationship with the customer
~ Analyse customer needs and provide customized innovative propositions, in cooperation with Business Solutions
~ Capitalise on all sales activities within the organisation
~ Manage correct allocation of tenders as well as correct hand over of customer information, in line with tender process.
~ Coordinate proper handover of customer contract agreements (SOP) to the operations and IT department in cooperation with business implementation
~ Coordinate with operations team and all relevant stakeholders involved to check and ensure progress of job in execution to client’s requirements
~ Actively develop new / existing profitable clients
~ Develop new business leads provided by global counterparts locally. Face of Geodis to new customers in Singapore.
Tender Management
~ Identify and pursue tender opportunities within allocated global accounts, in line with Global Tender Process, in order to further develop the account
~ Processing of enquiries, responding efficiently and accurately to customers requiring RFQ, RFP, RFI, Tenders, Bids and Proposal and negotiating win-win profitable conversions pertaining to shipments
~ Source and negotiate competitive rates and efficient service from Contractors/Ship Brokers/Carriers/Vessel Operators & Owners.
~ Provides quotations, cost and other business information to existing and new clients assigned
~ Maintains an updated and accurate record on costs of services, contact details of all service providers, clients and filing of sales quotations, tenders, bids and proposals
~ Manage the development of VP and presentation to customer
~ Reporting of feedback from customers to management.
Supervisor Operations Team
~ Supervise & lead a team of project executives in order to execute services as per customer request (services include air, sea, breakbulk, warehousing, projects, trucking)
~ Supervise all movement of cargoes
~ Liaise with customers
~ Ensure KPI are met for all activities (operational, financial & compliance)
~ Follow up closely with customers on complaints, discrepancies and damages.
Management Information
~ Submit management information related to performance as well as the opportunity pipeline for assigned accounts, to enable the Manager Global Accounts to steer and take corrective actions if applicable.
~ Generate performance report from CRM and analyse findings
~ Identify trends and propose corrective actions, if applicable
~ Prepare presentations assigned from time to time
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
~ Experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
~ Knowledge of Project Logistics freight management
~ Great multimodal experience and operational skills
~ Needs preferably 10-15 years' experience with documented sales record
