– Monitor and manage project and maintenance term contracts, overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety and quality, implementing financial controls, and coordinate reporting with senior management, stakeholders, clients and subcontractors.
– Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality of work, safety, and compliance with contractual obligations.
– Plan work schedules and efficiently organize project/maintenance activities to meet timelines.
– Attend regular meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
– Resolve technical, contractual, and other issues that may arises.
– Communicate effectively and confidently with senior management, providing solutions and contingencies for any encountered problems.
– Monitor and manage the project cashflow and the profit and loss.
– Monthly reporting to the Director on the project progress on the cashflow and the profit and loss.
– Ensure the quotation created is correct based on the scope of work before issue to client.
– Ensure the purchase of material, spare parts, equipment and others are correct based on the scope of work.
– Understand and execute all contract requirements.
– Assist the Tender Department in Tender Preparation.
– Attend site survey for tender bidding exercise.
– Attend tender interview.
– Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, regulations, codes of practice, and company safety rules and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
– Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building/ Facilities
– Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
– Experience in M&E Engineer
– Good written and communication skills
– Having full life cycle project experience is an advantage
– Advantageous to have Certified Facility Management Expert (CFME) qualification.
– Advantageous to have experience with productivity tools such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Maintenance Resource Planning (MRP), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Microsoft Project.
