Manager
Responsibilities:
Act as Lead person in charge for all matters relating to the new building projects and recurring cyclical maintenance for ageing buildings, completing within safety procedures, deadlines and budget.
Responsible to gather proposals, obtain internal approval for appointment of Contractors, and vendors for implementation of all projects in accordance with existing procurement policy
Responsible to plan, implement and monitor the work progress periodically, address and follow up any issues to avoid delays whilst keeping management updated with potential bottlenecks.
Communicate or report to project committee about work that requires guidance, direction or outside expert assistance.
Handover completed project to Maintenance Team with full documentation and maintenance regime.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Building/Construction or similar field is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years experience in leading projects of at least S$10 Million and in management.
Previous managerial experience in a school setting will be an advantage.
Experience in AutoCAD or similar building design software or fluent in interpreting complex shop drawing.
Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
