Job Overview:
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to our client's specifications. You will create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.
-Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create user-friendly web pages.
-Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code by using best software development practices.
-Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
-Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
-Create and maintain software documentation.
-Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
-Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
-Perform regular website updates and maintenance.
-Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to operations and activities.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-Proven working experience in web programming.
-Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/Javascript.
-Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Tyescript/JS, C#, JAVA or PHP
-A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
-Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development.
-Experience with version control systems such as Git.
-Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
-Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React and NextJS
-Knowledge of backend frameworks like NodeJS or .NET Core
-Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress
-Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services and AWS/Azure Cloud environments
