Software Developer
Responsibilities
- – Assist in planning and preparing test cases and scenarios based on project requirements.
- – Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects or bugs in software applications.
- – Report and track bugs found during testing and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- – Conduct functional, integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- – Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements for better software quality.
- – Maintain test plans, test reports, and related documentation.
- – Provide feedback to project managers and stakeholders on software quality and testing progress.
- – Stay updated on industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- – Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- – Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- – Basic understanding of software testing (e.g., functional testing, regression testing, UAT).
- – Some exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber) is a plus.
- – Ability to identify, document, and track software bugs effectively.
- – Exposure to Agile development processes (from school projects or internships is a plus).
- – Some experience or familiarity with programming (e.g., JavaScript, Java, or Golang) is a bonus but not required.
- – Understanding of databases and how to perform basic testing is advantageous.
- – Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
