Content Creation & Curation:

  •  – Create, curate, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) e.g. Video filming and production of thematic videos of <90 seconds for Instagram Reels or TikTok).
  •  – Develop visual and written content, including posts, videos, stories, and graphics, that communicate the SDC’s brand, mission to share the Singapore Story, exhibitions, and public programmes.
  •  – Collaborate with curatorial, education, and visitor experience teams to highlight collections, special exhibits/programmes, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.

Collaboration & Content Calendar Management:

  •  – Work closely with the Audience Development team to integrate social media campaigns with larger museum marketing initiatives and communications.
  •  – Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting across all platforms.
  •  – Coordinate with museum staff to gather relevant content for social media, including images, video, and texts.

Audience Engagement

  •  – Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and friendly manner.
  •  – Use social media to drive conversations around museum topics, exhibitions, and events, creating a sense of community.

Analytics & Reporting:

  •  – Track key social media metrics (engagement, reach, click-through rates, etc.) and analyse trends to assess the performance of social media efforts.
