Key Responsibilities 

  • –   Social Media Management 
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the family’s philanthropic mission and values.
    • Create, curate, and publish engaging content (e.g., photos, videos, graphics, written posts) across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
    • Engage with followers, respond to messages, and manage online community interactions in a timely and thoughtful manner.
    • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to gauge effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and new technologies, particularly in the philanthropy and social impact spaces.
       
  • –   Content Creation and Curation
    • Use design applications like Canva or Photoshop to create social posts
    • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and other creatives to capture and showcase the impact of the family’s initiatives.
    • Draft and edit posts, newsletters, and other content, ensuring all materials reflect the family’s tone and mission.
    • Manage and organize a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting. 
       
  • –   Project Management 
    • Coordinate and help oversee smaller philanthropic projects, from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
    • Liaise with nonprofit partners, vendors, and team members to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
    • Maintain organized project documentation, track progress, and provide regular updates to the family and relevant stakeholders.
  • –   Strategic Communication
    • Work closely with the family office to understand their vision, values, and preferred communication style.
    • Identify and propose new partnership opportunities and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications 

  • –   Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • –   3-5 years of experience in social media management and/or project management, ideally within philanthropy, social impact, or a nonprofit setting.
  • –   Proven ability to create compelling digital content, with a portfolio showcasing social media management experience.
  • –   Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing projects from ideation through execution.
  • –   Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a specific tone of voice.
  • –   Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • –   Experience working with high-profile individuals or private family offices is a plus.
  • –   High degree of professionalism, discretion, and respect for privacy.
