The Senior Marketing Executive / Assistant Manager supports the Marketing and Communications team by coordinating and executing luxury lifestyle & F&B retail marketing, Public Relations activations, social media content creation and campaigns with the objective of driving sales while maintaining the brand’s luxury marketing position. This role requires an understanding of retail and digital marketing; public relations; social media management; programmatic & social advertising; and SEO.
Primary Relationships
The position reports to Marketing Manager.
Within the organisation, this position has primary working relationships with the Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media, Operations and Warehouse teams, as well as staff with similar positions within subsidiaries and franchises.
Outside the organisation, the position coordinates primarily with service providers such as marketing, Public Relations and media agencies; as well as within strategic partners marketing teams such as other luxury brands, malls airlines, banks etc.
Responsibilities
-Coordinate with Marketing Manager on an annual marketing calendar and translate this vision into a coherent strategy which can be implemented in the local market as well as overseas markets.
-Implement and execute marketing campaigns that will enhance the brand’s image and positioning within the marketplace and the general public.
-Collaborate with relevant team to create comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals. Identify target audiences, select appropriate digital channels, and develop tactics to reach and engage them effectively.
-Plan, execute and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engines, social media advertising, email marketing and content marketing. Optimise campaigns based on performance metrics and insights.
-Monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, including data collection, report preparationand identifying opportunities for improvement.
-Assist in the development and execution of creative marketing plans that is aligned with the corporate strategy and brand image.
-Copywrite, edit and proof-read marketing materials in both English and/or Mandarin.
-Assist to respond in a timely manner to partnership and collaboration requests in order to drive both revenue and brand awareness through tie-ups, collaborations, product placements, sponsorships, events, etc. This includes outreach, contract execution and seeing through deliverables.
-Manage relationships with mall management team to work towards having more visibility for the brand through branding and advertising opportunities, act as the brand’s representative and point-of-contact and implement marketing campaigns to enhance brand’s image and positioning.
-Branding and advertising opportunities can include negotiations for complimentary physical and digital advertisement spaces/ directional signages/ visual merchandising units/social media features or even through selected events.
-Assist to strategise and respond to marketing initiatives and campaigns requested by landlords, franchisees and subsidiaries around the world.
-Coordinate production of branded materials and ensure consistent articulation of the brand’s desired luxury image and positioning across the brand’s advertising, print and electronic materials through marketing assets and strategic placement within vicinity of brand presence through the use of way-finders, lightboxes, posters, landlord’s website etc.
-Stay updated on industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities. Analyse market data to identify opportunities and provide recommendations for improving marketing strategies.
Qualifications
-Preferred degree in marketing, business management or related.
-Written and spoken native fluency in English and Mandarin; additional language(s) are a plus.
-Proficient but not limited to MS Office, Meta & Google business management platforms, Knowledge of Google AdWords, social media management platforms, e-mail marketing and etc.
-Familiarity with social media (management tools, software and knowledge of social media tracking) is advisable.
-Detail oriented, organized resourceful and agile with an ability to adapt and problem solve.
