1). Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing and Procurement:

>> Source and purchase goods and materials as per company requirements.

>> Negotiate with suppliers for pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.

>> Monitor stock levels and reorder, as necessary.

>> Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

2). Order Processing:

>> Process incoming orders accurately and in a timely manner.

>> Ensure that customer orders are correctly entered into the system and that inventory is updated accordingly.

Assist in stock transfer between warehouses or locations to ensure proper stock allocation.

Assist in order fulfillment for e-commerce orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and shipping.

Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely deliveries

Ensure that all necessary documentation for order processing is completed and filed correctly.

 

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking.
    • Update inventory records in the system to reflect incoming and outgoing goods.
    • Conduct regular stock audits and resolve any discrepancies.
  2. Supplier and Vendor Communication:
    • Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, backorders, and delivery issues.
    • Resolve any issues with product quality or delays in shipment.
    • Manage and update supplier data, including pricing and lead times.
  3. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
    • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and order status for management.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
  4. Problem Solving:
    • Address and resolve issues related to order discrepancies, returns, and customer complaints.
    • Troubleshoot any stock-related issues and coordinate with relevant departments to find solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

#Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, and order processing.

#Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

#Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

>Proficient in inventory management and order processing software.

>Knowledge of supply chain management principles.

>Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.

A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
