The Job
The position holder is primarily responsible for performing recruitment & selection, on-boarding & off-boarding and employer branding. Such functions are to be carried out in alignment and compliance with the company’s policies/procedures and the local authority’s regulations. On the administrative side, he/she has to cover the duties of the HR/Admin Assistant in her absence.
What You Can Expect of the Job
~ You’ll advertise and source for vacant positions, screen through the resumes, and arrange interviews and placement activities within the stipulated time frame.
~ You’ll prepare employment letters, ensuring that the terms and conditions for the confirmed candidate are consistent and understood between both parties.
~ You’ll conduct new employee’s orientation program.
~ You’ll ensure all HR records are stored confidentially in hard and soft copies and access to the records must conform to the level of authorisation.
~ You’ll process work pass applications of non-managerial positions – new staff.
~ You’ll maintain the accuracy of the company’s organisation chart as and when required.
~ You’ll attend to candidates’ various queries on job application and employment issues.
~ You’ll represent the company in various career fairs.
~ Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What We Expect of You
~ Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
~ Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in performing equivalent or similar duties required for the position in a multi-national organisation.
~ Applicants without relevant qualifications should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
~ Good knowledge of employment law and legislative requirements.
~ Legal authorisation to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
~ Proficiency in MS office products, e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
~ Willingness to work a flexible schedule and may require working beyond office hours if situation dictates.
~ Willingness to have a ‘service’ attitude whilst attending to staff’s issue.
~ Will be required to attend/support meetings, conferences, seminars and company functions.
