-Developing social media strategy for Museum as custodian of Museum brand and identity.
-Ideating and producing digital content to drive engagement to achieve brand awareness and for the Museum’s exhibitions, programmes and events.
-Planning and supporting the execution of special programmes and public engagement events in annual calendar of museum events.
-Enforce and adhere to Museum’s SOPs and best practise & procedures
-Develop and produce social media initiatives, manage social media calendar for public engagement
-Support the working relationship with facility management and other departments by maintaining a master museum calendar
-Support the day-to-day operational readiness of FOH and closing duties
-Planning and allocation of resources for social media and marketing needs for both print and digital efforts, as well as programmes and events collaterals
-Conduct on ground evaluation and analyse social media data and surveys from marketing efforts and events/programmes for insights
-Supervise advertisement productions when necessary
-Research and stay up to date on latest trends in digital marketing, influencer engagement and social media content to formulate and execute social media strategies
-Develop a range of relevant merchandise/gifts for the Museum
-Support the working relationship with external stakeholders and partners
-Support the operational readiness of venues for programmes and events such as obtaining necessary events licences
-Manage overall web presence of the Museum
-Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
-At least 3-4 years of direct experience working in marketing/advertising (social media)
-Degree in Business, Marketing/Communications or equivalent
-An interest and passion for Singapore history, museums and the local creative arts scene
-Self-directed learner and problem solver who can perform under pressure
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-Good time management skills
-Cultural understanding and empathy for diverse communities
-Availability to work on evenings, weekends and public holidays
-Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc will be an added advantage.
-Service oriented, team player and enjoy interacting with people
-Shortlisted candidate must be comfortable to work at the Singapore Air Force Museum located at Paya Lebar
