Job Description

  • Work alongside with the Manager to ensure brand consistency across all design projects, adhering to the University’s visual identity and branding guidelines.
  • Develop and execute visually compelling creative concepts for marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to brochures, banners, social media graphics, website visuals, advertisements, and event collaterals.
  • Assist in building brand identity including guidelines and application extensions across promotional materials and merchandise.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external vendors, including advertising agencies, printers, merchandise providers, specialist illustrators, video producers, and copywriters, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce visuals that enhance the promotion of academic programs and activities and ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Stay updated on design trends and emerging technologies to enhance the institution’s branding and marketing efforts.
  • Be the brand guardian for the institution
  • Monitor competitor’s activities and programs to establish differentiation for the institution

Selection Criteria

  • Applicants with a design degree and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience or those with relevant professional certification, must have corresponding 5 years related work experience.
  • A strong command of the English language – both written and spoken – with good user design experience in headline copywriting is key.
  • Proficient in using creative softwares and AI tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Procreate) to optimize design is necessary for the role.  Use of MS Office and PPT is required for administrative tasks.
  • Interest and knowledge in video and music editing / production, with use of Premiere Pro is an advantage.
  • Creatives will be selected based on design portfolios and proficient use of creative software, communication skills, personality and references.
