Software Developer
Role & Responsibilities:
- – Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers.
- – Design, develop, and maintain well-structured solutions within the team’s scope.
- – Enhance and optimize existing functionalities.
- – Develop and maintain product customizations and automated tests.
- – Take ownership of your domain and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- – Act as a subject matter expert, addressing requirement and solution gaps in specific areas.
- – Ensure the technical architecture/solution aligns with Avaloq core concepts, blueprints, and best practices.
- – Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Avaloq scripting language (ASL) and other related technologies.
- – Conduct unit testing and debugging of applications.
- – Work on performance optimization and ensure the system is running efficiently.
- – Assist in the deployment of Avaloq software updates, patches, and enhancements.
- – Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and production problems promptly.
- – Create and maintain technical documentation for the developed solutions.
- – Provide support for integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Education & Qualifications:
- – Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- – Minimum 9 years of relevant software development experience.
- – At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite.
- – Strong expertise in Avaloq Banking Suite implementation, including ACP functional knowledge and parameterization.
- – Broad knowledge of Banking, Wealth Management, and Software Development.
- – ACCP Certification is mandatory; ABR/S Certification/experience is a plus.
- – Proficiency in Oracle (PL/SQL), database schema design, and web technologies.
- – Solid understanding of object data modelling.
- – A strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently on complex technical and business challenges.
- – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
